Standard AP antennas are usually in the 2dBi to 3dBi range; therefore, this antenna can effectively double the signal strength of most wireless products. The Dipole antenna is omni-directional which has a 360 degree coverage.
The Antenna comes with a male reversed SMA connector which connects directly to the AP or card's reversed SMA connector. This eliminates the need for extension cables which reduce signal strength. In addition, the antenna's head can adjust to an upright or angled position (as shown in the product image) for better reception.
